Cal Vista Titles to be on DVD, Internet for First Time Through VCX

In an industry first, VCX, home and distributor of adult’sbest, brings the complete Golden Age library of classics titan Cal Vista to DVD and the Internet.

Bringing Cal Vista’s collection of 176 titles spanning from 1970 to
1988, VCX is re-mastering the titles to the best video and audio
quality possible. The movies, which include the critically acclaimed
“Nothing to Hide,” will be available on disc and via streaming video
from VCX’s website, VCX.com. The notable adult movies are given the
treatment they deserve, with newly commissioned original extras and a
fresh telecine transfer using the best technology available.

“These movies have never looked as good as they will after we’re done
with them,” VCX President Dave Sutton promised. “We’re attempting to
duplicate the quality these titles exemplified when they were shown
originally in cinematic release. Fresh, updated and very user-friendly
DVD menus, a VCX standard, will ensure these titles are appreciated by
not only the Golden Age aficionado, but the technophile as well! Brand
new art, created from the huge still library that was a part of the
acquisition will make these wonderful classics really stand out on the
shelf as well!  The titles, shot mostly on 35 mm film, are the cream
of the Cal Vista crop and are some of the best movies released during
the Golden Age.”

Bringing Cal Vista’s movies to the high video and audio standards of
VCX’s other DVD and streaming offerings was Sutton’s first order of
business when the rights to the movies were acquired.

“Sidney Niekerk, the retired owner of Cal Vista, and his wife Dani
Duran were giants in this industry and their movies deserve nothing
less than the best. I’ll always be grateful for the assistance they
gave me over the years and respect the legacy they left,” he added.
