Interview with Jayden Jaymes

First off, for those who might not know you, what is your name and please describe yourself?

My name is Jayden Jaymes, and yes, that’s Jaymes with a “y”! I get so irritated when people don’t spell it right!  Anyway, I am an adult video performer, better referred to as a porn star. I’ve been involved in the industry for approximately two years now, in front of and behind the camera. I’ve starred in over 100 scenes, including lesbian scenes, interracial scenes, and group sex scenes. As controversial as this industry can be to the public, I love everything about my job and wouldn’t trade my life or life experiences for anything.

What prompted you to join the Adult Industry?

I had been a full-time college student working as an exotic dancer at night to support my lifestyle. As much as I loved dancing and being center-stage all night, I became accustomed to making and spending approximately $2000 per week! I was working only three nights during the week, not even working on the weekends. I had a lot of free time, and spent it shopping. Eventually, I felt as if the money was not enough for me, and since I had always been the promiscuous one, I thought that trying my hand in porn would be fun. I thought, “I have sex with different people all the time… why not get paid for it? I’m going to do it anyway!” So, after casually mentioning it to another dancer, she jumped up and announced that she knew a porn director. She introduced me to him the next night, and he introduced me to an agent. I signed up and started working the next week. To me, I’m not doing anything different in my life as a porn star as I was as a college student and a stripper: I’m still sleeping with random people, as I always have, except now I’m paid a lot of money and I’m at least sleeping with people who are tested for STDs on a monthly basis. In my mind, casual sex is safer this way.

You have been around the industry for over a year now, what would you say are the best and worst parts about the industry?

The best part is definitely the freedom in your personal life. I am my own boss, I work when I want to, and I do what I want, on and off camera. This industry can do a lot for people who partake in it: we can make a lot of money very quickly and, if you’re one of the smart ones, you can invest it in your future and get yourself set for life. All by just having sex!

The worst part is the labels! Of course, when you’re a porn star, you’re automatically labeled a brainless, drug addict whore who can’t do anything else with her life. That’s bull. Well, it may be true for some of the girls, but definitely not all.

You have never done an anal scene before. Is it something you do in your personal life or something that you’d like to do on camera?

I have never, ever had anal sex! But, I am anal-curious. It’s something that I’m learning to experiment with, and I’m enjoying it. I’ve had boyfriends, past and present, that have used fingers and even small toys on me, and I like it, for a short period of time, then I beg them to remove it. However, I’m liking it more and more every time. I just had the discussion with a boy-toy last week and he’s going to try to break me in a little bit. I’d love to do an anal scene in the near future, so I guess we’ll see.

You have, for the most part, done only all sex movies. Have you ever wanted to do a movie that would involve some acting or is that something you aren’t interested in?

A lot of the movies that I do are all sex. It’s sort of an “ass-bouncing” introduction, and then the naked guy comes in and we get to it. That’s it. However, a lot of stuff on the internet these days are becoming small feature productions. It’s a lot of fun. We actually have silly little scripts that we have to act it out. I’ve been a football player, a doctor, a student, etc. I have a great time on these sets. But, I would like to step it up and do a great big feature production one day, maybe for a big company like Wicked or something.

You do feature dancing as well. Is that something you were doing before you got into the business or did you pick it up after you were in?

I’ve always loved dancing! I even danced as a little kid in ballet and tap. I did that for about eight years, so when I began exotic dancing in college, it was nice to experience that again. Although being naked was a bit different! Now, after being in the adult industry for a while, I sometimes get bored with what I’m doing, so I’m starting to schedule dancing gigs to give myself a variety of work. It’s a lot of fun.

What would you say was your favorite movie to shoot and please explain?

I’d have to say that I have two that come to mind. First, Tits and Ass 2 from Venom Digital. The scene was with Derrick Pierce and, to me it was one of the hottest sex scenes I’ve ever done. I had been working so much and was so tired, plus Derrick is a really good friend of mine, and I guess the sleep deprivation being with a good friend brought the freak out of me!

The second one is one that I just shot with Wicked Pictures called Super Model Slumber Party, or something like that. It was with Bridgette B. and Louisa Lanewood. Both girls were so much fun to work with. But, what did it for me was getting to DP Louisa! Bridgette and I both wore strap-ons, and she took the vagina while I took the anus! I’ve used toys on girls anally before, but I’d never done a DP scene, so it was a great experience with two great women!

Do you have any desires to get into directing in the future?

I do! I have plans for my own production company, but, as of this exact moment, I’m having “issues” with my partner, so we’re kind of at a stand-still. I guess we’ll see what the future has in store for me and directing.

What sort of things haven’t you done on camera yet? Are you planning on doing them soon or is it more of a “We will wait and see”?

I haven’t done any of the “kinky” stuff! That being gang bangs, including blow bangs, anal, and multiple guys. I did take on two guys once, but just that once. I’d like to try that again, though. I sort of stick to just straight lesbian or male/female sex, sometimes adding multiple girls.

How would people back home describe you when you were growing up?

I’ve always been the attention whore! Everyone, from kindergarten up, will tell you that. I just like to be the center of attention. I guess people would also say that I’m wild and crazy, adventurous, feisty funny, goofy, smart, and a complete nerd! Personally, I think I’m a great person to have around.

What sort of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?

I love being with my family! I’m very close to my youngest sister and my brother, and both of my parents, especially my mom. My family knows what I do for a living, and they are completely supportive. Your family are the only people you can truly trust and who will truly be there 100% of the time. I’ve learned that the hard way, so now I can’t help but want to be around them all of the time.

Other than my family, I like to be around friends. One of my favorite things to do is dine with friends. Sushi and Saki is always a good time. And, when we really want to get out, we’ll do something like go bowling, snowboarding, wakeboarding, shopping, go to the beach or the river, see movies, etc. We have the most fun being spontaneous. One of my favorite things to do is read! I have a lot of down-time on set, so I read. I love two kinds of books: autobiographies of recovered drug and/or alcohol addicts, which, honestly, keep me sober because the stories are absolutely horrible, and books regarding the truth movement, which is something I’m really passionate about but I choose not to discuss openly because it’s so controversial.

Can you share a silly or embarrassing story for your fans?

I can’t pinpoint any one event that is silly or embarrassing, but I can say this: I am clumsy! Seriously, really clumsy! I stumble, slip and fall all the time. It’s insane! I knock things over and break things constantly. One time, I turned around and knocked over a full sushi boat off a couple’s table in the middle of a restaurant. I just to the stupidest things.

Are there any projects or special events coming up that you would like to promote, if so please do so?

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas in January. I’ll be there signing all weekend for Brazzers. I’m so excited! It’s always a fun and busy weekend.
