Interview with Pittsburgh Slim

First off, for those who don’t know who you are, who are you and tell us a little bit about yourself?

I’m a Los Angeles based rapper from Pittsburgh with a 17 inch cock.

Who or what influenced you and helped you create your provocative lyrical style?

My biggest influences are Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, Camp Lo and The Roots


When were you signed and how did it come about?

Jay-Z signed me to Def Jam in the summer of 07. My single “Girls Kiss Girls” was getting a lot of
attention all over the country. They made me an offer I couldn’t refuse! My album, “Tastemaker”, came out in December of 07.

Has some people might know, your songs are used in some porn movies, how did this transpire?

I think the lifestyle I embrace fits right into porn! Can’t be mad at that.

Are you a fan of porn and if you are who are your favorite performers?

I love porn! My favorites are Sasha Grey, Jassie, and Faye Reagan. Miss Jessica Valentino is in there too, but I’m good friends with her man. TJ I don’t be lookin, I swear.

Have you ever been asked or thought about appearing in porn movies, like some other artists have before?

I’m too much of a pussy to do public porn flicks. I’m not saying I don’t get down in private. A good
friend of mine actually just started doing porn. He goes by Brandon Longwood.

You have been very busy with traveling and doing shows, how is that going and is it in preparation or a new album?

The road is a grind. Lots of airports and hotel rooms. I am working on the new album now. I hope to release it in September.

What producers are you currently working with?

Ski Beatz, Neff U, and Cisco Adler. Hopefully Mark Ronson and DJ Toomp will be added to that list very
soon.

Are there any songwriters or producers you want to work with?

I want to work with Jack White from the White Stripes, Kanye West, and Rick Rubin

Who do you see as your core audience?

People who want to have fun with music. Not that I can’t be serious, but my life is fun, and that gets
reflected in my tunes.

Do you think your music can cross genres and have mass appeal?

Without a doubt.

Are you thinking about branching out into other areas in the future, if so, what areas?

I am getting into acting as we speak. I am doing a movie in April, and a commercial directed by Kevin
Connaly from Entourage very soon.
