Stormy Daniels featured in ASACP PSA’s

The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has created a second public service announcement (PSA) featuring Stormy Daniels for the RTA (“Restricted to Adults”) website label. Daniels is a Wicked Pictures Contract Performer/Writer/Director. Daniels and Wicked Pictures donated their services to shoot the PSAs, while XFANZ donated their time editing the videos.
The new video, which is available for viewing on YouTube.com/ASACPRTA at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGIgjqP89Vg, features Daniels reminding her webmaster to label with RTA website label. The PSA was created in conjunction with another video that was released last month that encourages parents to use parental filtering software. ASACP’s PSA series will continue throughout the year with additional videos featuring different adult entertainment stars.
With the recent obscenity charges against Evil Angel, including one count of using an interactive computer service to display an obscene movie trailer in a manner available to a person under 18 yeas of ages, ASACP urges all of its supporters to help spread the word about adopting the RTA website label by featuring the PSA on their websites.
Attorney Lawrence G. Walters stated, “When attacking the adult entertainment industry, the government often attempts to blur the lines between consenting adults and exposure to children. As we see time and time again – most recently with the obscenity prosecution against Evil Angel – the government tries to recast the debate in terms of protecting children, instead of preserving the rights of adults to access erotic expression. The RTA device is one example of the industry’s voluntary effort to address the concern of minors’ access to age-restricted material. This issue should be taken seriously, and addressed by implementing robust age verification procedures.”
“By labeling with RTA, adopting ASACP’s best practices, and supporting ASACP as a member or sponsor you can protect children and your business at the same time,” stated ASACP CEO Joan Irvine.
The first PSA has already been viewed over 20,000 times on YouTube, while a video that ASACP produced last summer featuring highlights from a press conference announcing RTA has been viewed over 120,000 times. Currently plans are being made to make ASACP’s PSA series available in formats that can be used on cable networks and on DVDs.
ASACP encourages anyone who has not adopted the RTA label to do such. RTA was developed out of a need for an easy to use and internationally recognized label that designates content for adults only. The RTA label is a unique string of “meta data” which can easily be inserted into the computer code of any website. Parental filtering software recognizes the tag and prevents children from viewing age-inappropriate material. The RTA label is free and universally available. ASACP launched RTA in November 2006 and it now has over four million page link-ins. Complete information about the RTA label and how to use it is available at www.RTAlabel.org.
Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. ASACP battles child pornography through its CP reporting hotline, and by organizing the efforts of the online adult industry to combat the heinous crime of child sexual abuse.
