2040 Interviews 2 of 5: jessica drake
Hello jessica, for those who might not know you, tell us a little about yourself?
I’m a Wicked Pictures contract girl & I own & operate www.jessicadrake.com, the most interactive adult star website on the web.
The main reason for this interview is you are in Wicked Pictures big fall release, 2040. Your character in 2040 is Monica Sweet? Please tell us who Monica is in this movie?
Monica Sweet is the head research scientist for Real Doll, and the assistant to Duncan Caldwell. Although she works for the huge corporation, she has ties to the underground via Morris Landon, her ex-boyfriend. During the fight for power between Morris and his former boss, she goes under the cover of night to convince Morris that he should give up. (*spoiler alert*) She also defects from Real Doll at the end of the movie and turns on Caldwell.
In 2040 you play the sweet girl, which you do often. Do you like playing those kinds of parts or do you prefer playing the badass?
I really can’t choose between the two, but I will say I like range. Anytime I can play a character that goes through a change or conflict, that’s where the fun comes in. I think that due to my softer look, I do get lots of parts where I am sweet & loveable, but I’ve been the badass as well- in movies like Delilah and Manhunters. I also think that Fallen had both sides to it, my light and my dark.
What would you say is the best part about shooting movies like this as compared to a normal shoot?
I love bigger movies because I think they are taken more seriously. I love having the time to develop a character, memorize lines, do wardrobe, rehearse, the whole nine yards. They’re also a lot more work, but I love doing them.
How many scenes do you have in 2040 and which was your favorite scene in the movie?
I’m in three scenes, plus a bonus scene. I have an anal scene with Marcus London in his lab that was one of my best, I have a three-way with Kaylani and Brad Armstrong in an empty warehouse, and I am in the biggest orgy we’ve ever shot-14 people at the AVN Awards in the future. For this scene, I did my second onscreen DP. I think me doing DP is becoming a tradition for our big movie each year. The bonus scene is one of the more… unique scenes I’ve ever done. It was me, Kaylani, Mikayla, and a special guest. You have to see it! Favorite scene? I can’t even pick one!
Earlier this year House of Wicked was released featuring all of the Wicked Girls. What was it like working on such a monumental project? And please share all the dirty details about the all Wicked girl sex scene!
I was excited to be involved in the first movie in company history that included all of our girls. We each picked the type of scene we wanted to do, and I really think that when you watch them, each of our individual personalities really come across. It’s such a stylized movie-the sets are amazing. The scene I
did was my first ever scene with three guys at once! I had Johnny Castle, Rocco Reed, and Marcus London. They wore me out, but it was so much fun. For the all-girl scene, it was crazy hot! I got DP’d with Mikayla’s help. I really think that we absolutely have the best line-up of contract girls in the entire business. Those girls are like family to me, and they each are so individual and stand out so much. What a group!
When we interviewed you last you had just started directing. How has that been going?
Really well. I have several projects coming up in the next months. I have four scripts ready to go, as soon as my travel schedule eases up a bit.
Seeing that you have been with Wicked for six years, what character have you played that is an all time favorite for you and why?
My character Angel in Fallen, by far. She was like the best of me and the worst of me, all rolled into one. I got to do so much in that movie, from riding elevator shafts, to jumping off a building, riding in a tiny Cessna, standing on so many high ledges. I was in so many scenes in that movie. I did my first onscreen DP & won an AVN Award for it, and I also won my third AVN Best Actress Award for it as well.
You also doing many personal appearances a year as well as feature dance. What are the fans like when you go to these events?
My fans are amazing. It’s so rewarding to travel so much all over the world and meet the people who are responsible for me being who I am. I love knowing that I’ve been an influence sexually. I’ve had men thank me for making movies that they could watch with their wives. I’ve been thanked by women for sex advice on how to give blow jobs, or telling them what it’s like to be with another woman, or how to approach a threesome. When I’m at a signing, I take the time to talk to everyone one on one, and if I’m at a club featuring, my shows are all really crowd-interactive-plus my lap dances are pretty special too. When I do all these appearances, it’s also a great way to promote my site, and it’s more than your stereotypical porn girl site. I really communicate with my members, it’s grown into it’s own community that continues even when I’m not logged on.
You have any good scripts that you are working on as a writer that you may be able to tell us about?
There are two in the immediate future.Without giving away too much there is Burnout, which I may just star in and coerce someone else to direct, and Three Days in June, which I’ll direct, but not star in. Both
are dramas.
Is there one person that you haven’t shot with yet or had at one time that you would love to get in front of the camera? If so, who?
There are two, actually. Janine and Rocco, and I’ve felt that way for years now. They are on my wish list.
Are there any projects or special events coming up that you would like to promote, if so please do so?
Check my appearance calendar on my site www.jessicadrake.com for up to date info on where I’ll be next, check out www.wicked.com for our next live chat, and watch for 2040 coming in September from Wicked!
The pictures above are from Fallen, House of Wicked and 2040, in that order.
