Digital Playground is the Most Awarded Studio at the 2009 Hot D’Or Awards

Van Nuys, Calif. — Digital Playground received unparalleled honors at Hot Video’s 2009 Hot d’Or Awards in Paris, taking home six total trophies–the most of any studio. The blockbuster movie Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge earned five awards including Best American Movie, Best American Screenplay (Joone), Best American Actress (Jesse Jane®), Best French Actress (Katsuni), and Best American Actor (Evan Stone). Additionally, Katsuni was honored with the Best Actress Blog award for her endeavors on www.ILoveKatsuni.com.

Joone, Digital Playground’s founder and the writer/director of Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge was on hand for the evening of stars and entertainment, broadcast live on French TV.
