Interview with Lisa Ann

Hello Lisa, for those who might not know you, what is your name and please describe yourself?

My name is Lisa Ann and I am an Adult Film Star, Model, Feature Entertainer, Adult Talent Agent and an all around character! I like to live life to the fullest, and thanks to the Industry I have been able to fulfill that. I have the luxury of traveling for work and am constantly meeting new people.

What prompted you to join the adult industry?

I started in the industry as a dancer, which I like to say is clearly the gateway to other things in the adult world.

As many people know your career really took off last year when you became the porn version of Sarah Palin. Are you getting noticed more because of your portrayal now than before?

Since being totally thrilled to have the opportunity to play in Hustler’s Paylin series, my life has changed completely. I am not a fan of Palin so having her nonsensical path to follow has been thrilling! I get recognized constantly and I have broadened my horizons with fan and have appealed to a much larger demographic. It has been amazing, I can’t thank Hustler enough.

Before the Sarah Palin thing you were getting noticed as one of the top MILF performers. What do you think of the label MILF as it is used in the industry?

Well the MILF label has been thrown around to many girls who, can I say, are a little older! I fit into to that, but I prefer Cougar. It is tougher and makes me seem like I am on the prowl, which I am. I have no kids, which is what the original MILF is, Mom I’d Like to Fuck!

On top of being a performer you are also the founder of Lisa Ann Talent Management. What made decide to start your own talent agency?

I have been in love with the industry for long enough to know I don’t want to go anywhere, so I wanted to plant my feet and be sure I could grow something while I was still actively working in the industry. I love meeting the talent, having them rely on my life experiences in the industry and being able to provide them with some comfort and confidence that the industry can be a wonderful life.

You do feature dancing and make personal appearances as well. What would you say your fans are like when you meet them face to face at these events?

My fans are totally awesome when we finally get to meet in person; I really love to meet them, men, women, couples and the hot 18 year olds when I am somewhere that is 18 and up. I love how the younger guys look at a woman with experience! One of the very first fans I ever met, who has become a great friend. We are going to his 20 year high school reunion next week in Boston together. We are both pretty excited to trip everyone out.

What kind of advice would you give someone who is thinking about joining the industry?

I meet many people interested in getting into the industry, every case being completely different. The biggest thing to me would be that whoever it is, be a true sexual being, someone who really wants to explore and be explored. The love for sex and the amount of sexual energy you have will determine your success in the industry.

Who are the people that you would love to work with but haven’t had the chance to yet?

Yes! Jenna Haze. Love that girl.

What is your favorite movies or scene that you have worked on up to this point and why?

I would have to say the entire Paylin Series with Hustler, a total game changer this late in my life. It’s like being a late bloomer! I just eat it up and it has provided some serious work for people in a time where the economy could not be worse. The clubs are so busy when I am there and I am so thrilled to see everyone making money. Let’s not forget, because of all of this I also got to be in Eminem’s music video for “We Made You”, chalk that up as a pretty killer life experience.

What of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?

I am an avid sports fan. I also love to work out and go to the spa; I can never get enough time at the beach or outdoors.

TheLisaAnn.com, my fans finally convinced me to build a site, now it is like my baby and I just love it.
