Interview with Tabitha Stevens

Hello Tabitha, for those who might not know you, what is your name and please describe yourself?

My name is Tabitha Stevens. I am a legendary, Hall of Fame adult film star that has a big sexual appetite. I am a petite woman standing at 5’4”, weighing in at 100 lbs. My body is very tight and I sport a size D cup. Early in my career I had blonde hair and later on in my career I went brunette. I have blue eyes and a very big smile and a very long tongue. I am mostly recognized from my appearances on The Howard Stern Show over 25 times over a seven year period. As well as the E! Channels hit reality show ‘Dr. 90210′ where I have been the only celebrity guest to appear on every season for five seasons. I have a very dirty mouth and I am an extraordinary cock sucker.

What prompted you to join the adult industry?

I joined the adult industry in the summer or 1995. I was twenty five years old at the time, living in Las Vegas as a house wife. My husband had a very successful business, so while he was off working, I took care of our large home and went to the gym every day. The gym is crucial to my story because this is where I met Vivid contract star Raquel Darrian and her now ex-husband Derrick Lane. While working out at the gym one day, Derrick had approached me about doing an adult film with my husband. They were looking for a new couple to do a scene in their new movie. I knew that my husband would not want to take part in a movie of this nature, but nonetheless I asked my husband if it would be alright for me to check out this production and possible even do a scene if I felt comfortable. To my surprise he agreed. I flew out to California where the movie was being shot, sat on set for a day, called my entire family the night before to ask them if they would be comfortable with me having sex on television, and with everyone’s acceptance I went to work the next afternoon in a boy/girl scene with Bobby Vitale for Vivid’s movie titled Rolling Thunder.

Seeing that you have been in and around the industry for a while, what kind of advice would you give someone that is looking to pursue a career in adult?

The advice that I would give to someone who is looking to pursue a career in the adult film business is that he/she should be aware that especially now with the internet being as big as it is, that it doesn’t matter if you change your name to be anonymous, your family and friends will usually find out that you are doing porn. Once your scenes are out there, there’s no taking it back. Get into the business for the right reasons. Not for drug money or because a boyfriend/girlfriend wants you to do it. Do it because you want to do it. Don’t do it to make a quick buck thinking that no one will find out, because they will and sadly some places of employment look down on someone who has had a career in porn.

As most people know you really just came back into the industry again after a long break. What were you doing during that time and why did you decide to come back?

I took a seven year break from the industry because I felt I needed time to chill out. On my time “off” from the business I owned an adult video store with one of my ex-husbands and helped run that for a little while. People often say that being in business with an ex isn’t a good idea. Well I learned that lesson and would now have to agree. I needed a break just to recover from that crazy venture. I met Gary Orona, mainstream film director, on a project that he put together for In Demand. He and I got along great and decided to co-produce a film together. This film is called The Shaman. Gary and I were going through crazy times in our lives, for him a divorce and I had issues with my store and my ex. We became very close and started dating. Gary was tired of Los Angeles and loved the landscape in Utah. He had decided to move to Utah and a few months later I joined him. Gary was getting ready to shoot the elite late night series for Cinemax titled ‘The Erotic Traveler’. Gary had asked me if I wanted to give it a shot at producing. This would be my first undertaking of being a film producer for a thirteen episode series. It was very intense as well as very exciting.

After the completion of that project, Gary created and directed an adventure series pilot for International distribution. I too produced that entire show. This show was not an adult themed show. When that show was finished and delivered I started feeling unsexy. I mean being the producer of an outdoor adventure series and wearing cargo pants and hiking boots all day didn’t make me feel as attractive as I was used to being on set as an adult performer. Gary, being the best husband that there could possibly be, yes we got married in 2007, suggested that I go and revisit my adult career. So here I am. Back in action and looking better at almost 40 than I did in my late 20’s. My work ethic continues to be very professional and my sex scenes are very strong.

Well the main reason we are here is to talk about your new movie, The Vampire Sex Diaries. So tell us, what is it about?

It’s about a couple who stumble upon a forgotten town inhabited by sexual Vampires! They’ve given up blood for eternal sex. I play the controlling “Mistress of the Vampires” (Vanessa). The anonymity of the town and its status as an eternal Shangri La of sex and pleasure comes into jeopardy when one of the Vampires accidentally takes the young woman.  It’s a truly original and very “watchable” movie on top of being a porno! We shot it in an amazing, twisted off-the-scale location and the sex is super hot.

The director, Gary Orona, also directed you in Total Interactive Control of Tabitha Stevens. Was that the reason you wanted him to direct this movie as well?

Gary comes from mainstream film/TV production. He’s the creator/producer/director of numerous erotic series and movies for HBO/Cinemax and is an International Award Winning Director. He’s not only ultra-experienced and crazy talented but he’s also my husband!

How many scenes do you have in the movie and who are they with?

I have two sex scenes in The Vampire Sex Diaries. One is with Cheyne Collins and the other is with Gary. I had to beg him to do it. Really!

What would you say is your favorite scene you have done and why?

I would have to say that my favorite scene that I have done is all of my scenes from Total Interactive Control of Tabitha Stevens. The sex is just hot. It’s great because it is an interactive which means the viewer gets to choose which position he/she wants to have sex with me. The viewer can even decide whether they want me to have romantic sex or dirty sex.  Dirty sex is my favorite, especially the dirty blow job choice. A must have in your DVD collection!

Has there been anything you haven’t done on camera that you may do before you retire?

Before I retire I will be doing an interracial scene as well as a six man gang bang. I want to give my fans the best Tabitha Stevens scenes ever! I want to go out with a “bang”.

Is there anyone in the industry that you would love to work with but haven’t had the chance yet?

To have worked with Ron Jeremy is pretty much all one can ask for as far as guys go. I am looking forward to working with Derrick Pierce in our second feature coming up titled Talk Dirty to Me from Sex Line Sinema.  I would love to work with Janine. She’s so sexual.

What of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?

When I am not working on set I am producing our next show. During the afternoon Gary and I are out hiking, rock climbing and now cross country skiing. It’s all about being active and healthy.
