Hello Ava, for those who might not know you, what is your name and please describe yourself?

Hi! I’m Ava Addams and I’m French Italian which means I’m feisty. I work hard and play even harder. I grew up in Houston, Texas, speak fluent French and I am probably the clumsiest girl you will meet!

What prompted you to join the adult industry?

I have been an entertainer my whole life whether it was modeling/acting/dancing etc. I started off with fetish modeling, moved onto artistic nudes, did Playboy and a few years later decided I wanted to start doing solo and g/g work and then realized I really wanted to try b/g. Loved it and the rest is history.

You are an east coaster. What kind of challenges do you face living in Florida when the majority of the studios and sites are in California?

Well I started my porn career here in Florida but then decided to move to Cali to take it up a notch but I was only there for like a month when I got contracted with Bang Bros. Since I am going to be exclusive to my site, this is why you may not know me…yet. It took me a while to like Florida. Florida was always temporary to me. I hated it at first and went through some rough patches here in my personal life but now that I have a solid group of friends. I love it and am so happy and thankful.

You have also been fortunate enough to get mainstream work as well. Tell us how that came to be and what was it like?

I did commercials and print work as a kid, did theatre growing up, and just missed it. I did a movie called Fear Girls and than was fortunate enough to get cast in a horror movie called Zombiefied, and just auditioned for a pilot, fingers crossed. I love acting, it’s very challenging and kind of scary at times but so rewarding. I did my own stunts for Zombiefied and it was very intense and I couldn’t talk for days after screaming but I loved every single minute of it and I would love to do more mainstream work.

Up to this point you haven’t done a lot of DVD titles but you have done website work. What would you say is the biggest difference between the two?

(Laughs) No, I have done maybe like three movies and only one b/g scene that is currently out. Well actually two for the same DVD, Titty Sweat. My movie didn’t require too much dialogue and was very similar to doing the website stuff. I have been fortunate to have worked with nice people, so far.

What would you say is your favorite scene or movie that you have done up to this point?

I had fun doing Titty Sweat and I always have a blast working with Bang Bros, everyone is so nice and professional but it’s also fun and really doesn’t feel like work at all. I met one of my best friends shooting for them. However, I think my favorite scenes are the ones I am doing now. I get more and more comfortable and I think it shows!

Do you have any aspirations to direct your own movies at some point?

Of course! I directed and came up with pretty much everything on www.AvaAddams.com, unless it was content trade with another girl. I’m also decent at photography but would like to learn camera work

Who are the people that you really want to work with while you are doing movies?

There are so many people I want to work with, seriously the list is immense! I want to fuck as many hotties as I can. A few that come to mind are Sasha Grey, Jesse Jane, Nikki Rhodes, Bridgette B, Alexis Texas, Rachel Roxxx and Brooke Haven. Like I said I want to play with lots! As far as the boys, I suck; I don’t know many of their names. All the ones I follow on twitter and more.

What advice would you give someone that is thinking about joining the adult industry?

Funny I was just discussing this with friends. I always have friends that ask me if I can get them in the door, and I always tell them this: If you are to ashamed to tell your own parents or your closest friends, don’t do it. I love my job but I have lost friends over it and it’s hard to find a man or woman that isn’t intimidated by what I do, and people are assholes. They will judge you! It’s a good thing I have amazing parents and friends that love/accept me, and that I don’t care what everyone else thinks.

How would people back home describe you when you were growing up?

You’ll get two answers. My friends will tell you that I am funny, witty, caring, a good person but a little crazy, and the haters will say that I’m a bitch and perhaps they are both right.

What sort of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?

Well living in South Florida, I live for beach/pool days! I love yoga and as much as I hate working out I try and make myself do it at least three times a week. I’m also quite the bookworm and am constantly writing. I’m actually working on two books and I am a history buff. Love museums; however I also love my crazy nights out with my roomie and all my other fabulous friends. We like to drink, we like to dance and we have good times.
