Interview with Raven Alexis

Hello Raven, for those who might not know you, what is your name and please describe yourself?

My name is Raven Alexis, I’m 23 years old, and I am a contract film actress with Digital Playground. I also own my own production company and own and operate my own adult websites, www.ravensplayhouse.com and www.ravenalexis.com

What prompted you to join the adult industry?

I started with nude modeling and art modeling – and from there, I decided to start my first site, which was a solo site. From there, I started building up content and planning on my launch as a full XXX performer.

You are currently a contract girl with Digital Playground. Were you seeking a contract and tell us what the process was like when they decided to sign you?

My plan from the very beginning was to sign a contract with Digital Playground – I’ve always regarded them as the best adult film company out there. I contacted them last summer, and fortunately, my goals and theirs merged wonderfully, and here we are!

Fly Girls is the newest “vocational” series movie from Digital Playground and you are featured in it. For those that don’t know about the movie, what is it about and who do you play?

Fly Girls is a movie about the filming of a porno movie that’s supposed to take place on an airplane. I play the part of a security guard who is supposed to guard the porno director, Manuel Ferrara, and his assistant, played by Sasha Grey.

What was it like working on a big movie such as Fly Girls as compared to your other movies?

It was one of the best movies that I’ve ever done! I absolutely loved it, and I know that the scene is going to be loved by the fans!

What would you say is your favorite scene or movie that you have done up to
this point?

The scene for Fly Girls would definitely be up there at the very top of the list. I’m also very proud of my website, www.ravenalexis.com, and the scenes that we put up on there.

Do you have any aspirations to direct your own movies at some point?

I produce and direct all of my own content for my websites – I am very much looking forward to directing a feature film in the near future, and eventually, turning that into a career.

Who are the people that you really want to work with while you are doing movies?

I really want to work with Evan Stone, Tommy Gunn, Jesse Jane, Kayden Kross; the list goes on and on!

What advice would you give someone that is thinking about joining the adult industry?

Really do their research – make sure that they know exactly what the adult industry is like. Visiting a porn set is a great way to see what really goes on, and just how much fun it is to be an adult performer! And for men and women, I think the most important part of being an adult performer is to always remain your own boss – don’t let someone make you do things that you are uncomfortable with.

How would people back home describe you when you were growing up?

They would have described me as a very quiet, introspective bookworm/nerd. I was always very involved in school and studying. The only thing that got me away from my books was playing sports or computers.

What sort of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?

I am an avid reader and computer gamer, as well as tech geek. On the other end of the spectrum, I also really enjoy hiking, camping, rock climbing, road trips, swimming, surfing and off-roading. I’m a very outdoors oriented person.

Are there any projects or special events coming up that you would like to promote, if so please do so?

I would encourage everyone to go out and purchase a copy of Fly Girls when it is released on the 16th – also my newest movie, Desires, comes out on February 9th.
