Interview with Taryn Thomas

Hello Taryn, for those who might not know you, what is your name and please describe yourself?
I am Taryn Thomas; I was born in New Jersey and moved to the Scottsdale Arizona area at age 12. Upon turning 18 and thus being of legal age to work as an adult performer, I worked for Lightspeed Media Corporation doing internet photo shoots and softcore pornography, a total of about 20 appearances. In the late months of 2004, I went to Southern California and made the decision to perform in hardcore pornography as career choice.
What prompted you to join the adult industry?
I had an appetite for sex that was uncontrollable.
You recently came back after a break from the industry. What were you doing during that time?
It’s actually almost been a year since I came back. But I did a lot during my break. I started my break off going to school for cosmetology, I also danced, hosted parties, learned how to DJ, ate a lot of food. I could go on and on. But I mainly just missed porn everyday I was gone.
Taryn it Up Entertainment is the name of your new production company. When did you decide that you wanted to do your own movies?
Ever since the first day I walked onto a porn set in LA. I knew I wanted to own my own movies, direct and take things to the next level. I never wanted to be just a performer. So what was once a dream is finally coming true.
Your first movie was just released and it’s called Vogue Nasty. What can your fans expect to see in your movies?
Vogue Nasty was just a gonzo to get the ball rolling. The next movie that is being released is called Dirty Games. We really stepped it up for this movie and all our movies will be similar from here on out. Either way my fans can expect top notch dirty sex that I am known for.
You are also working on a new website. What is that going to be called and can we expect to see the same Taryn we are used to or are we going to see a wider range?
My new site is called TotallyTaryn.com and the name says it all. It is totally me. 100% me. My site will be filled with everything imaginable that I can legally do. I expect to have my site updated no less than three times a week. So members will be very happy.
What kind of advice would you give someone who is thinking about joining the industry?
I love the industry very much. The only thing I tell people is to wait until your 21 and make sure this is what you really want to do as it will be with you for the rest of your life.
Who are the people that you really want to work with while you are doing movies?
There are so many great performers in this business, it would be hard to name.
What is your favorite movie or scene that you have worked on up to this point and why?
Scene I shot with Poppy Morgan for Vogue Nasty. It was truly the best girl/girl I ever shot.
How would people back home describe you when you were growing up?
(laughing) As big red. As I have naturally bright red orange hair.
What sort of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?
Honestly I wish I had time to do things. But ever since I started my company everyday is a work day and I love it. But when I get free time I like to go tubing, jet skiing, boating, the boardwalk when it’s summer in NJ, hang out with friends, and most importantly spend time with my family.
