Angelina Castro Celebrates 20th Birthday Bash Amid Furor Over Appearance at US Funded Cuban Radio Station
Cuban born pornstar Angelina Castro (http://www.angelinacastrolive.com & http://www.twitter.com/angelinacastrox) is celebrating her 30th Birthday Bash in style… with family, friends and her website members – a live Cuban Tetas Birthday Bash Event, on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 7pm est – plus a giveaway of free cam sessions to fans. In addition to the live event, anyone who joins Angelina Castro’s site by Sunday, September 9, 7pm est will get a free 15 minute one on one session with Angelina. Existing members of Castro’s site that purchase a 15 minute session will be given an extra 15 minutes free.
The Birthday Bash comes as many in the Cuban/Latino community are up in arms from an appearance by Castro in August on Radio Marti – a radio station funded by the United States of America to highlights the virtues of democracy & free market economics to the Cuban community. Castro’s appearance on the mainstream station funded with US tax dollars, has sparked a furor with numerous demands to have her interview pulled. http://bit.ly/NSCRqC. Castro appeared on ’1800-Online’ a show that ‘uncovers the world of the internet for Cubans who have hardly or never seen it’ co-hosted by the son of the Juan Almeida, one of the original Commanders of the Cuban revolution. A former Cuban political prisoner, Angel Cuadra, was so outraged that he wrote a blog criticizing Castro’s appearance saying that her website ‘showcases the grossest scenes of pornography’ and it was ‘embarrassing’ to see her work promoted on a station set up to help democracy. http://bit.ly/NdlUvv.
Castro has made headlines all year. Most recently she was part of the #TeamBJ twitter sensation with adult star Sara Jay – pledging to give followers oral sex if the Miami Heat won the NBA title. The resulting press & publicity was worldwide…with mentions on the CNN’s Piers Morgan Show & an appearance FX Network’s the Russell Brand Show – not to mention threats from the National Basketball Association (‘NBA’) to sue. Angelina Castro was named one of XBIZ’s Top 100 Newsmakers in 2011. She is part of Vicky Vette’s popular VNA Girls Network of Websites (http://www.vnagirls.com.) She is nominated as Best Latina in the upcoming Nightmoves Awards, in Tampa, Florida. She is a frequent guest on other mainstream Spanish television outlets such as Telemundo.
Angelina Castro is quoted as saying: “I am happy to turn 30. Does this mean I will get more MILF roles? I like ‘em younger. Ha Ha. I have had a great year so I am celebrating with my fans. I’ve never given away free private cam time before so now’s a great time to join my site & get some free time.” Of the swirling Radio Marti controversy, Angelina adds: “I am all about breaking stereotypes… in porn & in mainstream. If you would have told me a Cuban pornstar with a big ass would be on the front page of XBIZ or AVN making news a year ago I would have said you were loco. The same is true with Radio Marti. It’s my goal to change opinions of porn, girls in porn & the stereotypes that we see in the news. It’s a fuss just because of my occupation. Nothing more, nothing less. Hopefully someday, a pornstar appearing in mainstream won’t be so shocking. Cubans have more to worry about than me.”
