Rahway, NJ – CineKink, the annual film festival and national screening tour dedicated to celebrating and exploring the wide diversity of sexuality, has launched its first-ever Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign.

“By partnering with us and making a donation, you play an essential role in helping us to encourage and promote sex-positive and kink-friendly depictions in film, video and television – and in creating a community that shares in the celebration of kinky culture,” says Lisa Vandever, Co-Founder and Director of CineKink. “With a decade of sexy cinema under our belt, we¹re looking forward to what’s ahead; with your help, let’s make this season the best and biggest one yet!”

From the $1 “Sloppy Kisses” and $50 “One-Night Stand” levels, to the $500 “Group Love” and $1000 “Hey, Big Spender!” options and others in between, the CineKink Kickstarter campaign offers participants a variety of perks, including Gala and red carpet admission, participation in the CineKink festival jury, all-access passes, sexy swag bags, reserved seats, and more.

Held February 25 – March 2, 2014, the eleventh annual CineKink NYC (http://cinekink.com/programs-and-events/nyc/) will feature a specially curated program of films and videos that celebrate and explore a wide diversity of sexuality. In addition to screenings, plans for the six-day festival also include a short film competition, audience choice awards, a special adult entertainment showcase, and a gala kick-off event, along with retrospective screenings commemorating a decade’s worth of kinky programming.

A national tour will follow, showcasing audience favorites from the NYC festival selections in cities such as Chicago, LA, San Francisco, DC, Seattle, Portland, Miami, Berlin, and more throughout the year.

Billing itself as “the kinky film festival,” the event is presented by CineKink, an organization dedicated to the recognition and encouragement of sex-positive and kink-friendly depictions in film and television. With offerings drawn from both the independent cinema world and the adult, works presented at CineKink NYC will range from documentary to drama, comedy to experimental, slightly spicy to quite explicit–and everything in between.

Founded in 2003, CineKink is dedicated to the recognition and encouragement of sex-positive and kink-friendly depictions in film and television, most visibly through its annual NYC-based film festival and national screening tour. Both showcase works ranging from documentary to drama, camp comedy to artsy experimental, mildly spicy to quite explicit – and everything in between. Cutting across orientations, topics covered at CineKink have included, but are by no means limited to, BDSM, leather and fetish, swinging, non-monogamy and polyamory, roleplay, gender bending, sex work, and sex geekery.
