In comparison, settlement and funding on Credit Cards is always 2-4 days for Visa/MC and 5 days for Amex.

4 – Credit Card transactions legally can be cancelled and declared unauthorized by the buyer for up to 180 days, after the purchase. In this event the merchant has to refund the payment. In comparison, ACH transactions can be declared unauthorized by the buyer up to only 90 days, but when the merchant shows the bank the customer’s purchase/payment authorization or a customer’s purchase confirmation email sent back to the customer, the buyer has to pay the purchase amount.
