April 30, 2008 by Christina
Leading Internet Payment Service Provider (IPSP) CommerceGate (www.commercegate.com) has announced they are inviting clients and prospective business associates to party on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at the Kraznapolsky Hotel in Amsterdam, Holland to celebrate Queen’s Day, a Dutch national holiday.
Started as a way to commemorate the birth of now deceased Queen Wilhelmina of Holland, Queen’s Day is a famous national holiday held each year on April 30. Over a million people gather around the canals of Amsterdam on Queen’s Day for what has become an annual citywide open-air party.
To celebrate, CommerceGate is hosting a pre-holiday party on Queen’s Night, April 29, 2008, the evening prior to Queen’s Day. CommerceGate has invited 50 people to join the company’s crew for cocktails at the Kraznapolsky Hotel. The CommerceGate event continues with a sumptuous buffet and more drinks held at a traditional Dutch pub in the center of Amsterdam. On the Queen’s Day the CommerceGate crowd will be entering a sightseeing boat and drive around the canals of Amsterdam with DJ, Drinks, Orange activities and Surprising spectaculars.
“At CommerceGate we are proud to share Queen’s Day and the Dutch heritage with valued friends and clients alike,” said Bjorn Skarlen, CEO for CommerceGate. “We are so happy to take these kinds of opportunities to educate clients in a festive environment that these events provide. This past week in Barcelona we hosted some key clients to attend Forumla 1 and the Champion League Football Semifinals. With the strengthening of the Euro, now is the time for the world to discover Europe, a place where prosperity awaits.”
Utilizing CommerceGate services, clients provide products and services to consumers that are payable with regional currencies. This encourages seamless consumer transactions as prospective customers transact using currency they are familiar with. After the Queen’s Day event, American companies can join CommerceGate at Webmaster Access (www.webmasteraccess.com) in New York mid-May to discuss further benefits of the current “European Gold Rush.”
