Bree Mills 1Hello Bree, for those who might not know you please let us know you are and please describe yourself?

Certainly. My name is Bree Mills and I am the head of production here at Gamma Films. People probably best know me as the producer of Girlsway and Fantasy Massage. I would describe myself as short, blonde and really into good stories with pretty girls.

What prompted you to join the adult industry?

Before moving into production, I worked in marketing for the adult industry for many years, so I have a pretty good understanding of both sides of the game. My background is one of the main reasons why I am so adamant about talking directly with fans, listening to their feedback and being very active on social media because it’s simply marketing 101. I still stay very close to our marketing teams but have to admit, since diving fully into the world of production, I would never go back. It’s just too much fun!

So you run and direct for How did that come about and how do you come up with the name?

Growing up, I was a big collector of lesbian pulp novels and a lot of those old erotic stories were what my earliest fantasies were based on. So, it’s always been a dream of mine to create a site that featured that type of g/g content brought to the screen. When I took on production at Gamma, one of my first projects was to revive an older site that we had acquired called ‘All Girl Massage.’ I teamed up with Director Stills By Alan and we formed a really great working relationship. Under our new direction, the site became a success and it gave me the confidence to move forward with making my g/g dream a reality.

I came up with the name ‘Girlsway’ when I was brainstorming my vision for the brand. I wanted to create a universe that was completely driven by women. Literally, “girls having their way” in every single scene. I guess I put two and two together and the name just stuck.

Now, I serve as the producer for the network, with Stills By Alan as our primary Director and other guest directors in the works. I like to step in and write and direct certain key scenes myself and, of course, our features.

Seeing that you are a lesbian as well, what would you say is the biggest thing missing as far as lesbian porn is concerned?

I would say real passion and authenticity is often missing in g/g content. You can definitely tell the actresses who enjoy other women vs. those who are just going through the motions. That’s why, for our scenes, we tend to book either g/g only talent or those models who are very open and have really proven how much they like being with other women.

Right now you are working on your first feature entitled The Business of Women. It’s going to be in six parts with they first part, starring India Summer and Samantha Rone, already out. What can you tell us about the rest of the movie and when do you expect the other parts to come out?

It’s definitely the most ambitious project that we have shot to date. I really wanted to shoot this feature using film noir cinematography and story telling techniques. So, it has a look that is different from anything else we’ve shot. The plot is very twisted and incorporates a lot of existing characters Bree MIlls 2from the Girlsway universe, which is one of the little things we’re known for doing. Essentially, it’s a story about two rival business women and all the trouble they get themselves into while trying to take each other down. The feature also stars top gg only actresses Vanessa Veracruz, Shyla Jennings, and Charlotte Stokelym as well as the amazing Abigail Mac.

That’s all I’ll tell you for now – but the feature will be live as of May 28th and will air online through till the end of July, with the DVD release following shortly thereafter.

What do you think is the biggest misconception people outside the industry have about the industry?

I would say the biggest misconception would be that the people who work in the industry, both talent and those behind the scenes, are in it only for the wrong reasons. There are more amazing, talented people I’ve met who are passionate about what they do and loyal friends than in any other group of people I’ve ever been around.

What would be your dream scene to shoot, assuming money isn’t an issue?

Right now, I’d probably say doing a big end of the year Girlsway “Girl of the Month” throw down. Imagine, getting 12 of the hottest girls in the industry in one scene … I don’t even know if I could handle it!

What advice would you give someone who was thinking about getting in the adult industry?

For talent, I would say to surround yourself with a good agency, good peers, and a mentor to help show you the ins and outs of the business. For behind the scenes, I would suggest to start at the bottom as a PA, learn the ropes, and work your way up. It’s the best way to learn.

Who are the people you would love to work with but haven’t had the chance to yet?

For myself personally, there are a few actresses who I’ve met or chatted with that really seem passionate about creating great characters and stories … which is what I am all about. Those of the actresses I am most into casting especially for projects that I plan to direct. But I won’t name any names just yet.

Who would you say your idols are, either within the industry or not?

Personal heroes include Charles Eames, Elmer Batters, Michael Mann, Andy Warhol, and Elizabeth Warren. That’s a pretty random group, lol … but all of them are intelligent, creative, and driven and that’s what inspires me.

Heroes in the industry include our crews for both Girlsway and Fantasy Massage: those guys and gals are really the front line to make all of my dreams possible. I also really admire the work of directors Dan O’Connell, Dana Vespoli and Nica Noelle.

What sort of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?

Anyone who follows me on twitter knows that I am obsessed with my dog. I also love great food, good books, and working out. But really, I am a workaholic most of the time.

Are there any projects or special events coming up that you would like to promote, if so please do so?

Bree Mills 3Well, is heading into it’s summer lineup that includes not only the Business of Women but also the continuation of some of our most popular stories, including “A Wife’s Affair,” “Sharing the Bed” and a few new ones I recently wrote. If ever there was a time to join the site, it’s now!

Otherwise, Gamma continues to grow and we are taking on new projects as we speak. So expect more from us in the future as well!
