I’m jessica drake, Wicked Pictures exclusive performer, writer, and director.
It has been a while since we last chatted and sort of a lot has happened. Most recently you had a documentary series start on Canada’s The Movie Network called Love, jessica. How did this show come anout and what was it like filming it?
We were approached by the production company, and it took a very long time for me to decide to do it. I had turned down many reality TV shows in the past. It was fun yet very intrusive to film it, but I do think it’s a great representation of my life, with no added drama.
You were also recently in the first movie in Wicked’s new Fairy Tales line, Snow White XXX. In this movie you play the evil queen. What was it like playing the villain and is it something you want to do more of in the future?
I loved playing the Evil Queen for Axel in Snow White. It was really different for me to be so evil- it was hard, but it was fun. I got to do something so totally different! I’d like to play evil again, sure, but for me, I also like to keep mixing it up.
Speaking of the Fairy Tales line. They recently finished wrapping up Sleeping Beauty XXX. I know you aren’t in that one but are their any fairy tales that you would like to see made into a porn movie?
We pretty much did them all a few years back when Brad directed Craving I and II. I played Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Goldilocks, and so many others. I really can’t think of one we haven’t done.
You are also starring in one of Wicked’s big blockbusters of the year, Aftermath, which I’m guessing will come out this fall. What can you tell us about this movie and the parr you play in it.
We’re keeping Aftermath under wraps for now, but I can say that it’s one of our big movies for the year, we shot it here in LA and also in NY, I play a character named Nina, and Tyler Nixon is my male co-star. I will say this: it’s a darker drama, and like many Brad Armstrong/Wicked movies, there is an orgy in it that was insane!
You have also been going around the country giving talks ranging from piracy to sex tips. What is it like going around and giving these talks?
It’s been really eye-opening. I’ve come to realize that people can justify piracy very easily for so many different reasons, and they truly don’t understand the long term effects. For the most part, people have been attentive & interested. I think the more we increase awareness, the more likely people will be to support their favorite performers and studios by paying for their porn.
As far as the seminars and workshops, I love doing them! People are so hungry for realistic sex ed, and I love the questions I get afterward. The most conservative areas want to know about rough sex and anal. I think that says a lot! Doing universities has been great too. I’m impressed by the number of colleges that are incorporating everything from sex ed to pornography in their curriculum.
Amazingly with all that going on you are also still coming out with your Guide to Wicked Sex line of instructional DVDs. Which ones do you have slated for future release for this line and how has it been working on them?
My line has been doing so well, I’m so grateful to have the chance to do it. Plus Size Sex, which I created with Kelly Shibari, is the latest release in the line, and The Art of Striptease will be coming out next. My goal is to shoot 3-5 each year. I have some pretty interesting topics in mind for future movies also.
Do you have any plans on directing any movies in the near future, if so. what ind of movies would you want to make?
I wish I had more time! I’ve been sitting on two scripts that I wrote, Burnout and Lovesick, and I’d love to get them shot within the next year. They’re both dramas because that’s what I seem to write the best. Dark and dramatic, with edgy sex to match.
It’s a tradition so I have to ask, what would you say is your favorite scene that you have shot so far?
It’s still the orgy in Fallen. Some of the sex in Underworld comes very close, and the orgy in Aftermath was incredible, but Fallen is still my favorite.
I know you have worked with a lot of people in your career but who would you say are the top people you would like to work with but haven’t as of yet for whatever reason?
I’m not really sure. I still want to do a scene with Rocco, and as far as girls go, I want them all…especially more Asa. I’d like to work with Nikki Benz again too. And it’s too bad Belladonna never made a comeback, she was always on my wish list.
Who would you say your idols are, either in the industry or not?
Idols are tough. I’d say that would have to be my two favorite people; my father and grandmother. Unfortunately, they’re both gone. I find inspiration in a lot of people and things.
Are there any projects or special events coming up that you would like to promote, if so please do so?
Check out wicked.com for all of my latest- Snow White, Hot for Teacher, Asa gets Wicked, and coming soon, Aftermath. Plus, from my Guide to a Wicked Sex, get ready for Striptease!
