Hello Kimberly, for those who might not know you please let us know you are and please describe yourself?
I’ve been in the industry for 10 years. I direct movies, perform in sex scenes and I’m also a photographer. I love all different kinds of mixed media, like music, film, video and editing and that’s how I achieve my unique style. When I shoot photos I mostly shoot black & white film. I get a lot of my artist influences from photography.
What prompted you to join the adult industry?
I got into the industry through a friend. She was going to a set to pick up a check. I went with her and felt really comfortable and right at home. The director asked me if I’d ever do a scene and I said yes. I got tested and did my first scene.
Seeing that you have been in the industry for a while, what would you say is the biggest misconception that people have about the adult industry?
I think the industry is mysterious to most people and what people don’t know, they fear. They think awful things are happening to the innocent performers by said “pornographer” and porn is bad, when it’s just the opposite. Some of the best people I’ve ever met in my life have been in and around porn. People can have a very fulfilling and happy life in the adult industry. I care very much about the new comers so me and a group of the top performers in the business are working on revising the Porn 101 introduction video which is an introduction into the adult industry. It will cover the basic information he/she will need to know to make an informed decision to enter the business or not. It will cover mental health, testing, set etiquette and financial aspects of the industry. I’m hoping it’ll take the mystery out of the adult industry and clear some of those misconceptions.
Your most recent directorial effort, Orgy University, has recently come out from Vivid. What inspired you to make this movie and to make it as kind of a Carrie spoof?
Well first I’d like to say that it is not a Carrie spoof. Some parts of the movie were inspired by parts of Carrie but it is an original script. I wanted to do a big orgy movie that was a dark comedy so Orgy University was written.
You have directed a handful of movies at this point. What would you say is your favorite one that you have directed and how is directing different from performing, besides the obvious?
I really like all my Vivid-Alt work. That little off shoot of Vivid was a great time in my life for creativity.
You were also recently cast as Wonder Woman in Vivid’s upcoming parody. Are you a fan of the comics and how excited are you of playing this part?
I’m very excited to play Wonder Woman, I used to dress up as Wonder Woman for Halloween when I was little so it’s fun to play dress up again. Also, Wonder Woman’s back story is amazing as well. I couldn’t think of a cooler superhero to play.
What advice would you give someone that is thinking about joining the adult industry?
Watch the new Porn 101 video coming soon. It’ll be available everywhere for free online and on DVD at your testing facilities.
What would you say is your favorite movie that you have been involved with, either as a director or performer and why?
I really enjoyed Sex Files. I won best actress for my role as Dana Scully and I thought the movie was really a home run.
Are there any acts that you haven’t performed yet that you are thinking that you may do in the coming year?
Not really, I think I’ve done everything I’m going to do.
Who are some of the people that you really want to work with but haven’t as of yet?
Rocco Siffredi and jessica drake come to mind.
What sort of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?
Are there any projects or special events coming up that you would like to promote, if so please do so?
Well I have Orgy University coming out in April (see trailer on www.vivid.com ). I’m shooting Wonder Woman now, my next movie for Vivid is shot, it’s called Devil on a Chain and it’s a sexplotation action flick starring me and Skin Diamond. I’m remaking the Porn 101 video with James Deen, jessica drake, Nina Heartly and a few other big named female and male performers.
You can also go to my C4S studio where I currently put all my new content that I shoot with people when I’m not filming movies. http://www.clips4sale.com/48773.
