The target for the Hollywood based production house is the popular television show MASH which ran on CBS from 1972 until 1983 and culminated with the biggest television audience ever during its final episode. Who doesn’t love a big blockbuster movie? They so exciting and shiny and expensive! On that note, who doesn’t love porn? Beautiful people with elaborate costumes, getting all wet and breathing heavy together…

(Though, admittedly, Jon wonders if he’s the only one who creates plot around the porn he enjoys.)

“I think they should make more features,” he says. “There are so many stories I would love to see made into feature porn movies!”

So, if people in general seem to like feature length big budget adult films, why aren’t more of them produced?

Last February, AskMen.com released a great list of the top ten biggest budget adult films, counting down to the most expensive. All of these were feature length films, because common sense says the longer and more elaborate the film, the more expensive it will be. There is a huge difference between filming a collection of five 20 minute scenes in one studio over the span of two days verses editing hours and hours of sex, plot, dialogue and special effects.

Simply put, the more effort put into something, the more expensive it will be.

That said, there is something beautiful, simple and pure about having a girl, a boy, and a toy in a dark studio for 30 minutes and filming what happens. But these sort of scenes are sexy, which is a different type of excitement. A three hour full length science fiction spectacular event is exciting in a completely different meaning of the word.

Traditionally, sex flicks had to be seen in theaters. Because of this, directors paid more attention to quality and story (granted, this was circa 1975 quality and story). After all, just watching plain ol’ sex wasn’t usually worth the trouble of leaving one’s home and venturing out into the wide open world. They had to create films that people wanted to go to see. With the popularity of at home videos, however, films began to die out. People could have porn shipped directly to their doors, or even rent from a plethora of options.

(As a kid, I always did wonder what was behind the beaded curtain at the video store.)

Enter the internet, and the face of the adult industry changed forever with a huge wide multi-verse of perverted and delicious options. (Talk about the good, the bad and the ugly!)

The adult industry has a lot of money. Despite the recent downturns of the economy, porn is still making a lot of money. Rather than making money through one big picture event, however, production companies and studios make so much money because they produce dozens of smaller, lower quality films.

Again, filming two guys and a girl in some dude’s living room is not really Hollywood blockbuster quality. Money is made and people are paid, but not to the extent of a feature length adult film to the likes of, let’s just say, Pirates.

Ah, Digital Playground and Adam and Eve’s adult pornographic hit of 2005, Pirates. A feature spoof from the endlessly popular Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Adam and Eve took something good and sexy and made it awesome and sexier.

When it comes to adult films, many see Pirates as breaking the mould. It wasn’t a 70s or 80s cheesetastic porno flick. It was a blockbuster in the spirit of the big budget Hollywood Blockbuster. The first Pirates had a budget of one million dollars. That’s one million porn dollars, where most films are produced for a fraction of that amount.

And that’s not even mentioning the 2008 sequel, Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenue, which cost even more than the original.

Not only were the Pirates movies more expensive than other adult films, but they featured and released original motion picture soundtracks and milder, rated R edited versions.

And who can forget 1979’s Caligula, the tale of the wayward and decadent (bat-shit crazy) Roman emperor. Co-financed by Penthouse, Caligula was a strange hybrid of independent historical film and hard core, gut wrenching pornography. Probably the most well-known (and infamous) adult film ever made, it is also the most expensive.

Building from the tradition of Caligula and remembering Pirates, feature length adult films seem to be gaining momentum. This year saw the release of Adam and Eve’s post apocalyptic masterpiece, 8^th Day, as well as Wicked’s robot-fembot-replicant love story 2040.

Smaller studios like Girlfriends Films and Sweetheart Video have been paying attention to storylines. These lovely lesbian productions present either a collection of small vignettes loosely tied to an overlying theme (Women Seeking Women), or serial installments continuing an episodic storyline (Road Queen).

Some associate storylines with “couples’ porn” which can have the tendency to have a dragging plot, boring dialogue, and overly dramatic acting. While sex doesn’t always have to be an intense double dong gang-bang, it doesn’t necessarily need to be sickeningly saccharine sweet, either. It should be something for everyone to enjoy, and the modern face of the adult film feature is a great way to experience adult entertainment for the very first time, or to share your porn habits with someone you love.

Modern adult features are the gifts that keep on giving. Pornographic actors and actresses seem to enjoy making them, studios make a lot of money releasing them, and the public loves watching them. Though the acting may not be Oscar award winning, it’s usually better than the typical “is that a sausage in your pizza box or are you just happy to see me and my lesbian co-ed roommate?”

Most of all, they’re pretty. The stories are pretty and engaging, directors pay attention to sets, costumes and other details, and the talent – oh, the talent! In this wonderful world of adult film features, the men are as pretty or talented as the women usually are – and they’re likeable, too!

The Adult Video News (AVN) Awards reward studio’s hard work with plenty of awards each year, and the features are usually a highlight. It’s no secret that 8^th Day and 2040 are both fierce contenders for this year’s honor.

So, pop some popcorn, take out the lube, find your favorite snuggle buddy and pop in a DVD or a toy or two. Finally, enjoy some hard core lights, camera and most of all, action.

As the movie opens we see Brooke Haven driving down the road while listening to a radio report about how the “Predator” slipped away at the end of the second movie. She pulls in at a secluded house and goes inside. As she walks the hallways, with the power out, we see Stormy walk behind her and eventually spooks her by touching her hair. She screams and runs off and the next thing we see is her with two police officers, one of whom is India Summer, as they walk through the motel. They think she is just imagining things and they leave to go outside. After they leave she is still spooked and she makes her way upstairs. She checks to make sure she is alone and then gets undressed in order to go to bed. She starts to go to sleep and Stormy comes into the room after coming through a floor vent.

Scene 1: Stormy Daniels and Brooke Haven

Stormy wakes her and right away Brooke tries to scream but she gets muffled. Stormy then starts in on the foreplay with some nipple sucking before spreading her legs to finger her. Stormy then has her eat her out. Brooke then gets bent over so Stormy can use a pink and white vibrator in her ass. The scene ends suddenly but it is still pretty good. Stormy goes right back to where she’s used to for the series; being in control. Brooke does a good job too as the first victim.

We then quickly cut to the cops outside as they hear a scream. The guy goes and checks it out while India stays outside. While talking on the radio, Stormy comes out of nowhere and jumps on top of the squad car which is followed with a cut to Lexi Love, Zoe Britton and Annabelle Lee. They are three friends talking by a car when Stormy pulls up in the cruiser.

Scene 2: Lexi Love, Annabelle Lee and Zoe Britton 

After messing with them for a bit Stormy starts taking control and ordering the ladies around. She starts out my making Zoe kiss Annabelle. She then grabs Lexi and gets her to help Zoe eat out Annabelle. Lexi even uses a toy on her. Stormy rubs on Lexi for a little bit before giving her a different toy to use on Zoe while she is bent over kissing Annabelle. Lexi then gets to lie back on the car hood well Annabelle uses a toy on her. Lexi even gets the toy used on her ass as well. Stormy watches them as they finish up by cleaning the toys. All the girls seem to get into the scene which is always a plus. Lexi in particular seems to have the most fun as she has some great dirty talk while she is being played with. Only downside is that the scene takes place at night and it is hard to see the action sometimes.

After the fun is over the car pulls away and we see the three ladies on the ground naked and tied up as the scream for help. Stormy takes their car to a motel and goes in to get a room from Abbey Brooks, who plays the desk clerk. As she walks to her room she comes across Shyla Stylez who is having a fight with her boyfriend over him cheating. She ends up breaking up with him and walks away where she finds Stormy who tells her that he isn’t going to bother her anymore.

Scene 3: Stormy Daniels and Shyla Stylez

Shyla asks “What do you mean?” and Stormy responds by kissing her and pushing her against this metal door. It doesn’t take long and Stormy is eating her out and fingering her. Shyla then returns the favor as she licks Stormy while she is leaned against a wooden structure. Shyla then lies down while Stormy continues to lap her clam. The scene ends quietly with Shyla lick her juices off of Stormy’s fingers. If this scene didn’t involve Shyla along with Stormy it may have been kind of dull. Shyla brings some great energy, as she always does. What was nice about this scene as well though was there was no toy use. This scene is also shot at nice but the lighting allows you to see what is happening.

After she is done Stormy goes back to her room where she brings India who is stuffed in a bag and tied up. Stormy plays with her a bit, kind of like a cat that might play with it’s pray. After talking a bit she pulls out a black doubledong and unties her so that she can masturbate for her. She starts out using her hands and then starts using the dong. Stormy watches India pleasures herself and while she does that Abbey comes to the door to see if everything is alright. Abbey walks in and as India tries to warn her but it is too late as Stormy clams the door behind her.

With Stormy watching the two captives start kissing each other. It doesn’t take long and India works her way down Abbey’s body to eat her out. We find out what Stormy meant by what she has to do next and that is tie them up and put them in the closet. Stormy is then seen chatting with someone online who asks her to come to her place because she wants to see her. She shows up and it turns out it was a trap and ends up on a “Catch a Predator” type show. It’s kind of funny because the host is disgusted by what she finds in her bag. She ends u getting caught and thrown in jail. Her cellmate when she gets in is Kylie Ireland.

Scene 5: Stormy Daniels and Kylie Ireland

As soon as the door shuts it only takes a few seconds for Kylie to get up and force herself on Stormy. The fight a little and Stormy pushes her against a wall but before long Kylie is on top of her on the ground. They go back and forth and eventually Kylie gets the first taste as she starts eating and fingering Stormy. Stormy then gets her own taste of Kylie as both ladies get a little rough with each other. Kylie takes back control as she uses a toy on Stormy. Not to be outdone Stormy then turns things around as she uses a toy on Kylie as well. This scene is rough at times, by Wicked standards anyhow, and it works quite well. With the way Kylie’s movies are going at this point in her career they really couldn’t have chosen a better partner for this scene.

Final Thoughts and Rating:

This was a good way to finish this series, with Stormy meeting her match. A lot of people think that the two sequels never measured up to the original. Personally I liked the first one but I prefer the two sequels. The camera work and the style is a little easier to follow and I think the sex is hotter as well. The sex is hot throughout this movie with the two best scenes finishing it off. In fact the scenes got better as the movie went on which is something I like. Wicked doesn’t normally do movies like this series, they have more of an edge and it’s cool that they branch out and do stuff that isn’t normal for them. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that liked the other two movies or just fans of Stormy. I give it 4.75 out of 5.
