Hello Lotus, for those who might not know you please let us know you are and please describe yourself?
Im an adult performer, published writer & the industry Relations Advocate.
What prompted you to join the adult industry?
I’ve always been very sexual so this was the next step in my personal evolution. I felt the things I wanted to experience could only come to me from joining the adult industry.
You have been working a lot over the past few years to advocate for the adult industry and are currently part of the Free Speech Coalition in industry relations. How did you first get involved with FSC and what do you envision as your future with them?
I was first asked by Diane Duke, who was the FSC executive director at the time in 2015, to speak at a local OSHA hearing about public health. From there I got “activated” so to speak, into being more aware of how the decisions being made at OSHA affected performers & production companies ability to operate.
My future is to listen & learn from the community about how we at FSC can continue to roll out programs & resources that can help everyone in the industry thrive.
One of your initiatives while at FSC is the INSPIRE program. For those that aren’t aware of what that is could you please explain it and why did you decide to push for this program?
INSPIRE us basically a resource of information I collected from various performers in the adult industry on how they maintain success. It’s a basic guide of some of the 1st things a new performer would need to know or consider in order to do well.
I was passionate about putting this together first and foremost because I remember how all of the information I know about how to navigate the industry now I gained through word of mouth. For the most part that’s how it’s been for everyone. So I wanted to put together a central page of basic info that anyone could access when it comes to figuring out how to actually be a porn star.
What would you say is your favorite kind of scene to shoot, whether it be for yourself or for other companies?
I love lesbian or group scenes. I love womxn and since I don’t date them in real life I always love when I get to do a scene with a beautiful chick.
Group scenes are fun because there’s so many fun genitals to suck on or fuck on. I like the variety.
What advice would you give someone who is thinking about joining the adult industry?
Check out the INSPIRE webpage on FSC’s website!
If money wasn’t an issue, what would be your dream scene or movie to make?
Something historically accurate in costumes, locations and actors’ appearances.
Who would you say are the people you really want to work with but haven’t had the chance to as of yet?
So many people. I don’t know, Manuel Ferrera or Karla Lane
Who would you say your idols are, either within the industry or not?
Maya Angelou, Ava Duvernay, jessica drake and Cherokee
If you could have a conversation with anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
I would just talk to some old ancestors of mine to see what their lives were like.
What sort of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?
I like cannabis, reading, painting, hiking, going to museums, the beach, new events & pop ups.
Are there any projects or special events coming up that you would like to promote, if so please do so?
Look out for my first trans-femme scene w/my favorite person, TS Foxxy for Kink.com’s TS PussyHunters and my starring role in Pink & White’s next feature, Chemistry Eases The Pain debuts in February of 2020!
