CollabGPS has launched a new verification system that lets users display professional badges across five categories and filter profiles by verified status when searching for collaborators and support.
Verified badges are available for Content Creator, Adult Performer, Media/Podcaster, Social Media (SFW) and Production Support, covering everyone from performers and creators to interviewers, camera operators, editors and content managers. Users who prefer working with established talent can now narrow their search accordingly.
The update adds another layer of context without closing the door on newcomers. ID verification is now required to create a CollabGPS profile, while the professional badge system gives established users an additional way to verify their work and experience. New creators can still join, network and build connections as they enter the industry.
“Some creators feel more comfortable when they can see that someone has an established track record, but I never wanted that to mean new people don’t belong here,” said founder Ted Buras. “The goal is to give users more information and more choice. CollabGPS is also built for the full team behind the content – creators, performers, media, camera operators, editors, content managers and everyone helping make the work happen.”
