Candice Kloss knows about creating AI agents, and wants to share the challenges that currently exist.
Kloss is highlighting the advanced AI agent systems she has built and refined over the past year, underscoring the technical difficulty, time investment and engineering skill required to create them.
Her work focuses on building fully custom AI agents that interact with each other, automate complex tasks and run continuously in the background. This includes agents capable of sending emails, booking appointments, planning schedules and managing ongoing communication across multiple systems.
Kloss notes that even the smaller improvements shown in her recent updates took hours of hands-on development. “The attached improvements took about five hours,” she said. “The apps I created that send emails, book appointments and are interactive have taken weeks to upkeep. Many days I must fix a bug, which can take all day.”
She emphasizes that these agents are not simple automations or shortcuts, but advanced systems that require serious technical work. “Creating an AI agent is an advanced tech skill that even engineers at Google have to work hard at,” Kloss explained. “It’s not a shortcut or a simple task.”
Kloss has also built custom interfaces and live-data dashboards powered by her agents, drawing real-time information from multiple sources such as weather feeds, environmental data and event schedules. She points out that, until recently, this level of coding and data processing would have required access to large data centers and far more computing power than an individual creator could manage at home.
“Now this kind of technology is accessible to creators directly,” she said. “The fact that it’s possible at this level is going to reshape everything.”
