CollabGPS founder Ted Buras sits down with Kyndra Crump on Kyndra's Corner for “Ted Buras Interview: Fatherhood, Entrepreneurship & CollabGPS”, a personal conversation about building a business, raising his son and creating a safer way for content creators to connect.
Buras reflects on growing up in Denver, coming from an entrepreneurial family and developing the work ethic that carried him through nearly 25 years behind the scenes in the adult entertainment industry. He also opens up about fatherhood, balancing life as a devoted dad to his six-year-old son with the demands of building CollabGPS and what it has taken to move from industry veteran to first-time entrepreneur.
After watching the industry evolve from the early online era to today’s creator economy, Buras also discusses why he built a platform focused on safer networking, better planning, professional collaboration and community for creators at every stage.
“This conversation meant a lot because it wasn’t just about the app,” Buras said. “We talked about being a father, growing up around entrepreneurship and what it takes to build something from scratch. CollabGPS is part of that story because it comes from real experience and from wanting to make the creator side of this business easier, safer and more professional.”
