Los Angeles — Standard 17 Productions has cast Scarlett Fay in their forthcoming indie drama High & Outside: A Baseball Noir.

Directed by Evald Johnson, the film is based on his personal experiences as the son of a Major League baseball player turned controversial manager. High & Outside: A Baseball Noir tells the story of one man’s dream to play professional baseball and the desperate measures he takes to keep that dream alive. “As an adult performer my next step has always been to cross over to mainstream film and television,” explains Fay, who is best known as a co-host of Playboy TV’s BadAss, Beach House and NAHV. “I am so honored that I have been given this chance with High & Outside.”

Additional cast members include Geoff Lewis (High Plains Drifter, Every Which Way But Loose), David Yow (The Jesus Lizard, Fully Loaded), Richard Patrick (of the band Filter), and Phil Donlon (Unbroken, Queen of the Lot).
