Hello Angela, for those who might not know you please let us know who you are and please describe yourself?
I’m an all-natural Australian performer and director, and for the past three years I have been based in Los Angeles. I am a Spiegler Girl, Fleshlight Girl, and I run my own production company, AGW Entertainment, which has it’s DVDs distributed by Girlfriends Films.
You had a very busy September this year, having four major releases coming out including a new showcase from Jules Jordan titled Angela White: Dark Side. What was the concept behind this showcase and how would you say it differs from previous showcases you have done?
Yes, September was a massive month. My summer months were jammed packed with production, and it was exciting to see everything released in the space of a couple of weeks in late-September: Perspective, Drive, Angela White: Dark Side and from my own production company: Angela Loves Women 5.
Dark Side was an exceptional project. When in pre-production, Jules and I wanted to do something special and we wanted it to be massive. We wanted to combine the best of today’s visuals with an old-school approach to gonzo film-making, and we wanted to showcase the best of me as a performer and Jules’ majesty as a director. The result is Dark Side, which is the biggest and nastiest showcase I’ve ever done. It doesn’t only differ from my previous showcases in size, but also in style. Whereas Angela Volume Three was a highly stylized all-sex showcase, and ‘I Am Angela’ represented a docu-porn approach to showcase production, Dark Side is the first genuinely gonzo showcase I have been a part of, and it really allowed me to reveal a new side to me as a performer. It’s a real throwback to the golden-age of gonzo. I take on 13 men and swallow 16 loads of cum in my biggest blowbang ever, and then take on another 11 men in my biggest gangbang ever where I do double vaginal, double anal and triple penetration. And as the title suggests, I really delve into and explore my Dark Side in this showcase.
You also released the fifth volume in your Angela Loves Women series, featuring, among others, trans performer Natalie Mars. What do you look for in a potential scene partner for this series and what led you to picking your first trans partner for this movie?
It doesn’t matter what kind of movie I’m casting for I’m always looking for the same thing: authentic passion. I want to book performers who genuinely connect with their on-screen partners. I want to see chemistry, intensity and a sexual energy that radiates across the screen. I feel that passion and enthusiasm when I watch Natalie Mars, and that’s why I wanted to shoot with her for Angela Loves Women 5. Our scene together was absolutely magical and it spawned an incredible friendship. I hope we get the opportunity to shoot together again soon.
Drive, from Deeper.com, directed and written by Kayden Kross, is another one of your September releases. Unlike the previous releases, this one is more plot driven. What can you tell us about this movie, without giving too much away of course, and what, besides the obvious, is different about filming a feature compared to an all-sex title?
It was such an honor to be part of Kayden Kross’ monumental feature. Drive is a visually stunning and deeply intriguing movie, and the final act is genuinely groundbreaking. Kayden possesses the supreme ability to weave sophisticated storytelling with intense, hardcore sex. What I love most about Drive is that the script adds power and passion to the sex scenes. This movie never compromises story or sex.
The final big releases is Perspective, from Bree Mills and Adult Time. This movie takes a unique approach in that it tells the same story but from two different perspectives. Those two perspectives being yours and your on-screen husband played by Seth Gamble. What was it like playing basically two polar opposite characters in the same movie and how would you compare the overall experience for this to the rest of your career?
It was a challenge switching between the two different perspectives multiple times in a day, especially so given that our performances required such intense emotional reactions. I was honored that Bree Mills entrusted me with this role. I knew that is would require my growth as an actor and I was excited by the challenge. It was also an incredible privilege to work alongside the immensely talented Seth Gamble. We created moments together on set that I will treasure for ever.
Perspective was also released with a theatrical cut and submitted for various film festivals. What do you think it’s acceptance into any festival would mean for the future of adult films?
I love that Bree is so passionate about advocating for adult performers to be taken seriously as actors. I am always loathe to make predictions, but I hope it would shed light on the extensive work we do in adult.
Do you feel that perhaps the industry, or at least the paying audience, is moving back to the days where the amount of care shown for this movie will be the standard rather than a rarity?
I think there is a space for everyone in this industry. Tastes vary greatly and there is always going to be a market for amateur content, gonzo content, all-sex content, and high-end feature content. I love that we are seeing more and more companies putting time, money and effort into creating detailed scripts, but I also love that we’re seeing bigger and bigger budget all-sex releases. I don’t know that anything is ‘standard’ when it comes to porn. There’s something for everyone.
If money wasn’t an issue, what would be your dream scene or movie to make?
I’d love to shoot a scene in space. I want to experience fucking in zero-gravity among the stars.
Who are some of the people you would like to work with, but you haven’t had the chance to yet?
I’ve been very fortunate to work with so many performers and directors that inspire me. But the list of performers I still want to work with grows longer everyday. There are just too many to mention. I would have loved to have shot with Jenna Haze, Belladonna, Bobbi Starr, Mark Davis, and Mike Stefano, among others.
If you could have a conversation with anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
My grandmother. Just to see her again.
What sort of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?
It’s no secret that I don’t really have a work/life balance at the moment. I like to be productive. I guess my hobby is exploring my sexuality. If I wasn’t shooting so much I would be reading more and going to the beach.
