I’m an Australian performer, director and producer now living in Los Angeles. I’m probably best known for my large natural breasts, my intense love of sex and my DVD series Angela Loves…
What prompted you to join the adult industry?
I was criticized during high school for being a “slut” and a “lesbian”. No matter how I expressed my sexuality it was seen as unacceptable and inappropriate. When I was finally introduced to pornography, I saw a space in which having sex with multiple people of varying genders was celebrated rather than criticized. I saw pornography as a space in which I could express and explore my sexual desires in a positive and supportive environment.
You recently shot with Wicked Pictures for their upcoming showcase jessica drake is Wicked. You’re scene is an all girl orgy with a circus theme. What can you tell us about your specific part and how do you think the scene ended up working out?
I think the scene turned out wonderfully. All of the women had amazing chemistry and the action flowed beautifully with nobody ever being left out. I was incredibly excited to finally shoot with jessica drake and I’m honored to be involved in her groundbreaking showcase. I was cast as the Strong Woman which I identify with resolutely. As a strong, independent, feminist performer, director and producer the role was perfect for me.
Showcases have become more common over the last few years in the industry. If given the chance would you want to do a showcase and what sort of scenes would you like to do for it.
I’ve been fortunate that I have starred in a total of 14 showcases to date. The first movie I ever featured in was entitled A Day with Angela White and my first hardcore scenes were shot for the showcase Angela White Finally Fucks. My Angela Loves… series focuses on a theme: Angela Loves Women , Angela Loves Men, Angela Loves Threesomes and Angela Loves Gonzo. My most famous showcases are still “Angela Vol. 1” and “Angela Vol. 2,” which feature my most extreme scenes, including gangbangs, double penetration, double vaginal and double anal scenes. I’m currently in post-production for “Angela Vol. 3” and it’s my biggest movie to date. There is also a super secret showcase I have shot for another company that I will be able to reveal more about soon.
If money wasn’t an issue, what would be your dream scene or movie to make?
The focus for all of my movies is chemistry. Authentic chemistry and real passion can exist anywhere and can be captured with virtually any budget. So while it would be wonderful to produce a movie with no budget constraints, I don’t think scenes need to be shot on the Moon to connect with an audience. In fact, considering very few people have been to the moon, it may actually result in less people connecting. Mind you, I would certainly love to fuck in an environment with gravity one seventh of that experienced on Earth.
Seeing that you are from Australia and recently moved to the US, what would you say are the biggest differences between Australians and Americans when it comes to their views on sex and sexuality?
I’ve been asked this many times and it’s very difficult to answer. I think overall Australians are more liberal but our laws don’t necessarily reflect that.
Who would you say are the people you really want to work with but haven’t had the chance to as of yet?
In terms of male talent, I would love to shoot with Rocco Siffredi and Nacho Vidal. My list of women is too long. Almost everyday I learn about another female performer I want to get down with.
What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about entering the adult industry?
I would definitely advise them to examine their motives before entering the industry. Unfortunately, there is still so much stigma that surrounds our industry that it is not a decision to make lightly. On the other hand, if it’s right for you, the industry can be a blessing. It’s a wonderful space to express and explore your sexuality.
Who would you say your idols are, either within the industry or not?
I try to avoid idolizing anyone. We are all beautifully flawed and we shouldn’t hold anyone up as infallible. I will say that Annie Sprinkle’s openness in her books was hugely inspirational to me while I was discovering myself in the industry and out.
If you could have a conversation with anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
I would choose a loved one. Every time.
What sort of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?
I don’t have time for hobbies at the moment. Shooting for other companies while running my own business takes up all of my time. Luckily, I love what I do so I love every second! When I do get a chance to slow down I love to read. I prefer non-fiction, theoretical work on topics such as gender, sexuality, psychoanalysis, feminist and queer theory.
Are there any projects or special events coming up that you would like to promote, if so please do so?
Keep your eye out for Angela Volume 3. It’s the biggest and best thing I’ve ever done!
