I’m organized chaos! My mom actually described me best in saying I’m either your best friend or pure liquid evil poured into skin. But the choice is yours.
What prompted you to join the adult industry?
I had been involved in mainstream work for 2.5 years and had an agent scout me into the adult industry 4 years ago. Needless to say the camera and I have a love-hate relationship we know each other so well.
On top of being a well-known performer you also have a radio show on Vivid Radio called Tap that Ash. How did the show get started and what kind of things do you do on the show?
I used to be a guest a lot on Playboy Radio and that slowly evolved to me being on a lot of comedian podcasts. A couple years ago I began my own called “Ashaholics” podcast and then they offered me my own show on Vivid Radio SiriusXM Channel 102. I had some amazing people like Glenn of “Mean Bitches” whisper into Vivid’s ear to give me one and I’m so grateful for it.
You also have a podcast on your site,AshGirl.com, called Ashaholics. What can you tell us about this project?
Ashaholics is my original and still running podcast. The rules are there are no rules! I interview the likes of every kind, not just those in porn and I try to get them to confess their deepest sins.
Have you thought about getting behind the camera in any way? If so what do you see yourself doing?
With my site AshGirl.com I’ve collaborated a lot with Richard Avery on the shoots including all the wardrobe and make up. I’m currently directing fetish clips for sale and I’ve been working on some creative things now.
Actually I sold my soul this year and promised id do anal. We’re still working on the technical stuff. Other than that I just took on interracial which eludes me that it’s an actual thing. I would think that when I decided to do boy/girl scenes it meant all human figures slinging cocks.
What would you say is your favorite scene that you have shot is so far?
I have a favorite scene that takes place on kink.com with James Deen because it’s so psychosexual.
Who would you say your idols are, either in the industry or not?
My hero is my mother. I know to most that’s cliché but she’s a gorgeous woman in and out and I wouldn’t be the strong independent female I am today without her lead.
What advice would you give someone who was thinking about getting in the adult industry?
Remember that when you unveil yourself for everyone to see on the internet it is sexually liberating, although you will always be serving your time. The after effects of this kind of courage test that trail even after your relationship ends with the camera. Be prepared.
Who are some of the people that you really want to work with but haven’t as of yet?
There are so many, my gosh, Savanna Samson, Debbi Diamond, Asa Akira, Rocco Siffredi. I’d like to bang everyone once and choose from there!
What sort of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?
Are there any projects or special events coming up that you would like to promote, if so please do so?
I was in NYC recently for the opening of Vivid Cabaret in midtown Manhattan. It’s an awesome club with unbelievably gorgeous women and the tallest strip pole in the city, 25 ft., and Vivid Radio has its own broadcast booth in the club. I loved being on radio in NYC and plan on going back there soon to do it again. I got some great tips from the girls who perform there. I also have a movie called No Way Out by Digital Playground I’m really excited about. Look for it coming out soon!
