The best way to describe myself is christycanyon.com; there I am in all my glory! Actually, shame on somebody who doesn’t know who I am! I’ll have to take my 36DD natural Armenian titties and give them a titty whipping for not knowing who I am or wrap my Armenian thighs around their back and squeeze them deeper inside of me. I’ll make sure they don’t forget who I am.
What prompted you to join the adult industry?
It sure wasn’t so I could be the next Jenna Jameson. I got into the business at a time when I am not ever sure how legal it was. I had just turned 18, working two jobs, met a guy, Greg Rome, on the street outside my apartment and the rest is history
You have been retired for a while and now host a daily radio show on Vivid Radio. How did the show come about and what kind of things do you talk about on it?
Prior to working on Vivid Radio Sirius/XM 102, I was on another radio show for S/XM for eight years. When that company lost their contract, Vivid picked it up and I didn’t miss a beat. After Playboy went off air, I took a few weeks off for the holidays then settled my ass right back where I started, Vivid!
What would you say are some of the biggest changes that have happened in the industry since you retired?
Besides that I left? Isn’t that major enough? I am so glad I was in the jizz biz when I was. I loved my era! It seemed to all go from pretty high-end films to low budget scenes. Years ago when I started radio I asked a girl in the biz how many films she had done, she had no idea what I was talking about. Making a film hadn’t even been something she did but she told me she had done 300+ scenes in the three months since she had started, mostly anal if I recall.
I think I know the answer to this but I have to ask it, is there any chance of you coming out of retirement and shooting again?
Oh I flirt with the idea. And if I ever did, I would only do it for Vivid with you. Can you imagine how hot that girl/girl scene would be? Strapons, fingers, tongues. Mmm
For those that don’t know, you wrote a book many years ago about your time in the adult industry called “Lights, Camera, Sex!” What was the inspiration for writing that book and how do you think it came out in the end?
After I quit dancing on the road in 2002, my best friend from the business Victoria Paris and I enrolled in a writing class my sister had taken. Every week we had to write a story, get up in front of class and read it. And I must tell you, stories from the business are the best. You couldn’t make this shit up if you tried. The other students in my class would love hearing about our crazy things. Our writing teacher told me I should continue writing, bridge a few of the stories together and write a book. I had no idea what I was doing but I did it, which a year later led me to my job on Playboy radio for the next eight years and now of course Vivid Radio.
You were also recently featured in the book “Golden Goddesses: 25 Women of Classic Erotic Cinema.” What was it like looking back on your career and helping collaborate with that book?
I was honored to be a part of this book Jill Nelson put out. She interviewed me via phone several times for several hours. Then right before it went to print, she called me for a few quick updates. She is an amazing woman and a great author.
What advice would you give someone who was thinking about getting in the adult industry?
Try to align yourself with one of the good companies such as Vivid. Here’s the deal. If a girl wants to get into the business, nothing is going to stop her. For whatever reason, she’s going to do it. So do it but never do anything you’re not comfortable doing. It’s one thing to get fucked on film because you want to feel what it’s like to have a cock in your ass and one in your pussy and what the fuck why not try it? It’s another thing to show up on a set thinking you’re doing a boy/girl scene then finding out you’re doing a five man anal gang bang. Some of the lower end companies were doing that to new girls a few years back. Run, run, run if you are not comfortable with something.
Of the current crop of performers, who would you most like to work with if you decided to shoot again?
Misty Stone! I love that sexy lady! And who is that other girl I just interviewed on Vivid Radio, oh yeah you! And as far as new guys, fuck it, I would pull Peter North out of retirement, find Ron Jeremy at a local deli, grab Tom Byron and do a whole retro scene with my three favorites. Oh wait, if I was to pick a new guy, I would so pick Keni Styles. Fuck, now he’s hot. He was on my Playboy radio show once, we had a no insertion rule, so I am not quite sure how his cock ended up in my mouth, but.
What sort of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?
Shocking somebody I am sure.
Are there any projects or special events coming up that you would like to promote, if so please do so?
Every day seems to have its own special event. I swear I am such a Gemini I confuse myself most of the time. Besides Vivid Radio Monday-Friday 2:00-3:00PST on Sirius XM channel 102, and always updating my website, I really never know what to expect from me.
