Hello Kate, for those who might not know you please let us know you are and please describe yourself?
Hi there! I’m Kate Kennedy; I make dirty movies on the internet and bad jokes on Twitter. I like to think I’m a pretty chill gal. I’m originally from Colorado, but now call LA home. I’ve been in the adult industry for a little over a year and a half, but I started out behind the camera as a production assistant! I’ve been performing for going on 7 months now. When I’m not getting naked, I enjoy hanging out with friends, hiking, going to the beach, drinking whiskey and playing with my dog.
What prompted you to join the adult industry?
I might be one of the only people who can say they were offered a job in this industry! I started my career as a production assistant and marketing manager for Insex in Portland, OR. I was a year out of college, looking for a direction, and met them on a whim. I’d always been interested in the adult world, so when they asked me to come work for them a few months later, I jumped at the chance and never looked back! I transitioned into performing full time after shooting my first scenes for them last year, and moved to LA permanently in July 2018.
Like most other performers you have an OnlyFans account. What kind of content can your fans expect to see if they join your page?
Lots of great stuff! I update multiple times a week with clips and exclusive photo sets that you can only find there. There’s solos, BG, GG, and more! I also chat frequently with fans who support me by subscribing, so if you’ve ever wanted to message me privately, that’s where it’s at! I run monthly specials and raffles as well with some pretty tight prizes – free subscriptions, worn panties, signed photos, etc.
When it comes to scenes where you have to act out some scenario before the sex starts, how much do you enjoy the acting side and if you had the opportunity would you do a plot driven movie?
I absolutely adore the acting portion of my job and I’m dying to do more! I’ve been told I’m a fairly good actress; I memorize lines so fast, I usually end up knowing everyone else’s lines too! I would love to do a plot driven movie, especially for Pure Taboo, Wicked or Sweet Sinner. They’re all on my goals list for this year!
What would be your advice be for someone who is thinking about getting into the adult industry?
Be absolutely sure that this is what you want to do, because it does shape the rest of your life. Have an exit strategy, because everyone hangs up their hat someday, and it’s always best to do so gracefully and on your own terms. Be smart with your money and SAVE, damn it! Lastly, don’t join the adult industry unless you really, really like yourself and are 
confident in who you are and who you want to be. This job is wonderful, but like any aspect of the entertainment industry, it can be so damaging to your self esteem and self worth if you don’t have a good sense of who you are. Just be nice to yourself and others!.
What would you say is your favorite scene so far?
Ahh that’s like picking a favorite child! I’m really proud of my scenes for Reality Kings with Johnny Sins and Kaylani Lei, for Cherry Pimps with Small Hands, for Kink with Mr. Pete and for New Sensations with Steve Holmes. That would definitely be my “greatest hits” reel
If money wasn’t an issue, what would be your dream scene or movie to make?
Oh man. I have this all planned out. I want to shoot a park ranger themed movie for Brazzers because I think they’d nail the mix of humor and hotness! Lots of hot girls in khaki short shorts and hiking boots. Maybe a mischievous male ranger steals a picnic basket ala yogi bear. Bang me out in the wilderness with the scent of pine trees in the air. Also, I call making this and if anyone films it without me, I swear to god.
Who would you say are the people you really want to work with but haven’t had the chance to as of yet?
I’m currently crushing on working with Kieran Lee, Xander Corvus, Charlotte Stokely, Jill Kassidy, Abigail Mac and James Deen.
Who would you say your idols are, either within the industry or not?
I really admire a lot of veteran female performers like Lisa Ann, Julia Ann, and Dana DeArmond. Whenever I get a chance to talk to women who’ve been down this road so successfully, I just soak it up. Actually, anytime you’re on set with a veteran, watch how they work and listen to them! You learn so much that way. That said, my two best friends in the industryand life, in general, are Liv Revamped and London River and I admire them both immensely.
If you could have a conversation with anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Cyrus the Great. He ruled the Achaemenid Empire and controlled more territory than Genghis Khan at his peak, and was the first ruler to establish widespread freedom of religion. Fascinating dude. I took a class about it in college and he’s been my go-to answer to this question ever since.
What sort of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?
I’m a hobby person for sure! I like to stay busy. I’m a woodworker and have been fixing things up since I was little. I enjoy restoring old furniture; a lot of what I own and what you’ll see me fucking on in my content is stuff I’ve made or restored. I also enjoy hiking, 
which there’s a ton of in LA, and I try to get to the beach regularly. It’s good for the soul! Other than that, hanging out with my dog and my friends, watching Netflix and smoking weed. I’m a homebody at heart.
