Siouxsie Q (https://linktr.ee/siouxsieqmedia) has been honored with the Best Industry Professional award at the 2025 Trans Erotica Awards (TEAs), solidifying her impact and contributions to the trans adult industry. The prestigious event took place on March 9th, 2025, in Hollywood, CA, where industry professionals and performers gathered to celebrate excellence in trans erotica.
Siouxsie Q’s dedication, professionalism, and influence within the adult industry have earned her this well-deserved recognition. With an extensive career advocating for performer rights, industry growth, and positive representation, she continues to be a leading force in shaping the future of adult entertainment.
Siouxsie Q offered a statement:
“I am so humbled by this recognition. I cannot thank Steven, Kristel, and all the folks at the TEA Show and Grooby enough for this, along with all the folks who have afforded me opportunities to create in this space–especially Bree, Danae, and Patrick at Adult Time–along with every single performer I've had the honor of collaborating with on media that uplifts and showcases the power of all that is trans and beautiful–you are the very best part of this world and I am grateful for your work every day.
“Trans people will always be a priority for me, no matter what I'm doing in my career or what stage in life I am in. As a college student, I was deeply committed to LGBTQ+ activism in my own communities, hosting a Queer Speaker's Bureau that brought trans perspectives to churches, schools, and other organizations in the early 2000s and acting as an adjudicator for my University's Queer Film Festival which brought LGBTQ+ cinema to the student body.
“My very first scene as a performer under the name Siouxsie Q was shot by a trans camera operator, and my costar was a transmasculine icon (Love you Tristan Crane and Puck Goodfellow, along with Shine Louise and Jiz Lee over at Pink and White!)
“I now have the honor of regularly producing and directing for Adult Time, where I am consistently able to hire and pay trans people to work both in front of and behind the camera (shout out to all the badass trans folks on my crew, especially Venus, Chance, Nicky, Daphne, Beau, and of course/mainly Modest Pup who makes all great things possible, and I could not imagine my life without, in any capacity).
“It cannot be overstated that this industry, this world, entertainment, and activism as a whole have largely been built on the backs of trans folks and people of color. As a cis sex worker with a great deal of access to white privilege, I will still never be the “right” kind of woman according to the patriarchal gender binary—an insidious product of white supremacy and colonial capitalism that protects a wealthy ruling class of few, and consistently persecutes and punishes the most vulnerable.
“While the vast rainbow spectrum of gender expressions and identities can be and is magic in many ways, upholding the binary is a trap, and consistently divesting from it is crucial to our collective liberation.
“No matter what kind of work I find myself doing, be it performing, writing, directing/producing, or advocacy, I strive to always carry the voices and wisdom of trans elders and trailblazers, who I have had the great honor of learning from, with me: Sylvia, Marcia, Stormé, Miss Major, Cayenne, Monica Jones, and so many others have fought, worked, dared, dreamed and created a better world for all of us. We must continue to uplift, protect, and preserve their legacies as we fight for a future that will make them proud.”
The TEAs, officially known as the Trans Erotica Awards, recognize and celebrate the achievements of individuals and companies that have made outstanding contributions to the trans adult industry. What began as an online competition has evolved into a globally recognized two-day event, bringing together talent, industry insiders, and fans from around the world.
