Los Angeles, CA – Canoga Park-based adult industry powerhouse Wicked Pictures and acclaimed director Brad Armstrong are pleased to announce that they have begun pre-production on Men In Black: A Hardcore Parody. The director’s initial entry into the parody genre, the Adult Video News (AVN) and XBIZ Editor’s Choice The Rocki Whore Picture Show: A Hardcore Parody, recently received 18 major AVN nominations, making it Wicked’s most critically successful film of 2011.
Drawing its inspiration from Barry Sonnenfeld’s iconic 1997 science fiction comedy, Armstrong’s big budget satire is being crafted with the same exciting attention to detail that made his homage to The Rocky Horror Picture Show an across-the-board hit. From references to Arquillian Battle Cruisers to out-of-this-world hardware like the Corillian Death Ray, everything fans enjoyed about the original will be present in the director’s latest production.
Armstrong’s avowed fidelity to the original has already begun attracting high-profile talent, including retired adult film sensation Randy Spears. A devoted buff of the 1997 Academy Award™ winning original, the gifted actor is returning to the screen to portray Tommy Lee Jones’ laconic Kevin Brown, the mysterious but ramrod-straight man of action better known simply as “Agent K.”
A no-nonsense company man, Brown is an operative within the “Men In Black,” a secret organization without government ties whose sole directive is to turn our planet into a “neutral zone” for aliens, whom they disguise as humans so they may exist on Earth undetected. In other casting news, 2012 AVN award-nominated Wicked Girl™ Alektra Blue has been cast as Lara Flynn Boyle’s “Serleena,” the shape-shifting Kylothian queen from Men In Black 2 who resembles a hydra when not disguised in human form.
At press time, the filming of Men In Black: A Hardcore Parody is scheduled for early 2012.
