Interview with Sara St Clair

Hello Sara, for those who might not know you please let us know you are and please describe yourself?

Hi! I’m Sara St. Clair, otherwise known as Hardcore Barbie and your Dads favorite mid-life crisis.

What prompted you to join the adult industry?

I started off as a stripper, then went nude model, then fetish, so at that point the next move was porn. I like attention, I like sex, and I like cash- what’s not to love?

Like most performers you also have an OnlyFans. What kind of context do you upload there and how would you say it is different, if at all, from your scenes?

Onlyfans is fun for me because it’s all self made, amateur content. I know a lot of OF stars have highly edited top of the line footage but what makes it special for me is it’s all my real life stuff filmed off my phone. It’s where fans can see my intimate real life moments versus just off a set with a stranger.

What would you say is your favorite scene or movie that you have shot?

I’m embarrassed to say but my favorite scene was probably from 2016 when I shot for Reality Kings with my best friend Brad Knight. It’s just so much better when you know the person outside of filming. The sex and chemistry is better and I think it shows on film!

Who are some of the people you would like to work with but haven’t had a chance to yet?

Johnny Sins and Small Hands are on the top of my fuck list.

What advice would you give someone who is thinking about getting into the adult industry?

While I regret nothing, I encourage young girls to think twice about it. Once you do it, it’s not going away. If and when you decide to move on it’s always going to be following you around which makes finding vanilla work much harder. I’ve embraced it. I’m either doing this or being a trophy wife.

If money wasn’t an issue, what would be your dream scene or movie to make?

I am happy I got in when I did because I find it’s much harder now to enter the industry. Company’s simply aren’t shooting as much due to the tube sites (which existed well before I entered) but also the influx of Onlyfans and independent content creators. The industry is becoming a lot more star driven by their content versus what you see the big websites produce. I can honestly say, I don’t have a dream scene. I was always the girl who never said no so all my naughtiest fantasies have already been fulfilled.

Who would you say are your idols or personal heroes, either within the industry or not?

Asa Akira. She’s always been the hardcore gonzo chick I wanted to be. I also have a book coming out this Summer called “Romance Costs Extra”, which I hope is a quarter of as successful as her books have been!

If you could have a conversation with anyone, dead or alive, who would that be and why?

That’s a good question. I’d say Larry Flint. He was successful, sexual, and controversial but most importantly resistant when attacked for whatever the boundary Hustler was pushing and I absolutely adore people who push the limit.

What sort of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?

That’s a great question that I’m still figuring out. I’ve been a workaholic for many years and am finally in a place where I don’t have to work so hard and I’m slowly figuring out what I like. I’m a bookworm by nature and I’m working on a book that’s releasing soon so reading and writing are definitely on the hobby list!

Are there any projects or special events coming up that you would like to promote, if so please do so?

Romance Costs Extra by Sara St Clair will be available on Amazon in June

I plan to do a Barbie Movie Parody to release on my platforms in July.
